VINTAGE RHODE ISLAND ARTIST SKETCH ORIGINAL LINDGREN SOUVENIR TRAVEL DECAL PROOF

Just discovered in our archives is this rare artist proof of RHODE ISLAND, featuring a highly detailed map of the state.
Dating back to the early 1950s, this interesting and unusual sketch does not appear to have been mass-produced for the water decal market, making this artist proof most likely the only one of its kind in existence today. Produced by the master illustrators at the famous LINDGREN TURNER CO, this proof is numbered RI-1 though a different design was ultimately used for the Rhode Island state map.
This original piece is in excellent condition with light corner bending, a fold on the upper right edge, and very light creasing. It measures 2 3/4" wide by 4" tall.
Never before seen and probably never seen again, it's a rare find for any serious collection.
