    Description

    This is a 5 & 3/8" plate and a 4 & 1/2" saucer or shallow bowl in the Water Hen pattern of child's dishes.  It dates from about 1880 and has a garter logo on the back with the pattern name and #754.  The plate has crazing but otherwise both pieces are in good condition.  The Water Hen design is a transfer ware pattern.
