Texaco Fire Chief Gasoline Pump Sign and Felt Fire Helmet Original Not a Repro

From what I see and after talking to the older gentleman who I bought this sign from 20 years ago, I believe this 12 inch by 18 inch sign to be original, not a reproduction. Sign obviously has wear and a bit of minor staining as seen in the photos, which is a major reason I believe it’s original. Will also come with a pressed felt fireman’s helmet that was given out as a promotion at the Frank Weinberg Texaco Station in McKeesport, Pennsylvania (I don’t know what station the sign came from).
