A custom bayonet stand for the two most famous Bayonets of the American Civil War or, if you prefer, "The War of Northern Aggression"
Now you can display your 1853 or 1855/61/63 on this new museum quality upright stand for a totally unique display. The stand is made to display your bayonet in
it's natural vertical position. Your bayonet mounts to the lug and locks in in the same way it would on the original.
With this listing you can choose from the drop down menu to select a couple of unique options.

Choose you plaque finish. Choose from Black w/ wood trim finish or Old World Classic finish   No extra charge for finishes.

Every stand is comprised of a custom finished Knotty Pine plaque available in your choice of Black Top with Wood trim or a Rustic "Old World Classic" finish.
Each plaque is sanded, stained (2 coats) and receives 2 coats of Polyurethane for a fine furniture finish.  And 4 Felt  "Feet" to protect your furniture.
The bayonet base is made of PLA plastic filament that screws down to the plaque and uses a wooden dowel for additional support
The base uses the same locking mechanism as the actual rifle so the bayonet is held securely in place. Obviously correct safety precautions and handling should be used when handling bayonets.

With the exception of the 2 mounting screws, THERE ARE NO METAL PARTS IN THIS STAND.
Stands include four (4) felt "feet" to protect furniture. See the pictures for details.
These are handmade and therefore the final product will have variations in color or wood grain pattern which we are not responsible for. All products are assembled for fit and inspected for best quality appearance before shipping to customer. They are then dis-assembled for shipping purposes.
A brief description of the 2 different finishes:
The “Old World Classic” Finish Plaques tend to be more "Rustic" and will have knot holes and sometimes small gouges/chips etc. The raw plaques I receive that have distinctive wood grain and
"character" are specifically chosen for that finish. Definitely more "Antique" looking.
The raw plaques that have uniform color and little to no imperfections are chosen for the Black with Wood Trim Finish. The black top finish has a very "Clean " look .
You should be aware of the difference
Minimal assembly is required.
The shipped package will contain the following: 1-Plaque, 1 Base, 2 - M2.5 x 10mm Phillips flathead screws, Wooden Dowel and barrel cap*. Instructions will be included. Takes less than 5 minutes to assemble. Less than 40 seconds your 2nd time!
*  Only the CSA consists of 2 parts. The 1853 uses a base assembly and a barrel Cap. The 1855 Springfield is one piece.

I make these in small production batches but I have shipped in quantities up to 20 and discount price breaks can be applied at higher quantities!

I can ship different products to the same address to save on shipping costs but it's best to contact me before ordering so I can arrange it on ebay. I am not an expert on this stuff so contact me and we'll find the best solution to save you $$ on shipping.

I have added an option to purchase the nameplates pre-engraved you see in the pictures. The pre-engraved nameplates are 3/4" x ?"  and are engraved in gold on a matte black background the 1) name of the bayonet 2) The Firearm it was used on and 3) The name of the country and the conflict it is most known for.  This is a $TBD option.
Note: This portion is subject to change. I am still waiting on delivery of the nameplates and will update the information hen they arrive.

I shouldn't have to warn anyone about the dangers of handling bayonets and displaying bayonets. Please use extreme care and caution when mounting to the stand.
Your scabbard should be on the bayonet when mounting. And please keep displays and stands away from the reach of children of any age.
Any helmets, flags,nameplates, scabbards, and/or Bayonets shown in the pictures ARE NOT INCLUDED.
I say this because one customer gave me a negative review and wrote " I opened the box and all I got was a bunch of wood! No bayonet! So.....
