Antique 15" Arch Top Cast Iron Vent Grate Register Flowers Pinwheels Exc Cond!

Description

This beautifully designed cast iron return air grate / vent measures approximately 12.75” high and 14.75” wide and weighs just under 5.75 lbs. It is in excellent antique condition and has never been over-painted nor restored. I have included two photographs – one of the front and one of the back. You can see the front had a glossy black baked-on finish when it was made, almost all of which is still there (just some light wear near the bottom), and the back did not.
I sell used, antique and vintage items. Every vintage and antique item has a story to tell.
Small, as-made anomalies speak to the uniqueness of each piece.
And nothing ages without time showing its mark in some way.
A century of being used or held and admired, packed and moved, cleaned and displayed, will create the telltale signs of genuine age.
